Getting a Data Feed

RC-MLS is RESO Certified and 100% Web API Compliant. All data feeds issued by RC-MLS are API feeds.

How to Apply for a Data Feed

For new and returning customers, please follow the steps below to apply for a data feed.

Complete the MLS Data Licensing Agreement

Begin by completing the MLS Data Licensing Agreement.

  • Be sure to select the feed type you are requesting on the last page of the agreement

  • Once complete, email the agreement to:
    mls@rivercounties.com

Create or Access Your FBS Datamart Account

Create or log in to your FBS Datamart account at the link below.

After logging in, select the River Counties (RC) feed that best matches your intended use.

If your website or data feed developer may already have a feed, see the developer information below.

Review MLS Rules & Bylaws

Before using your data feed, please review the MLS Rules and/or MLS Bylaws for detailed information regarding:

  • Feed types

  • Rules and regulations

  • Permissible data usage

Data Feed Types & Prices

*Tiered pricing applies to applicable feed types and is charged to the website or data feed developer applying for the feed. Fees are paid at the time of application through the Spark API Datamart.

1–10 licensees: $25.00 per month

11–25 licensees: $50.00 per month

26+ licensees: $75.00 per month

IDX (Internet Data Exchange)

The most commonly requested feed. IDX is used to display a compilation of listing data for public viewing, typically on a broker, company, or agent website.

BBO (Broker Back Office)

Used to compile MLS statistics and market information for broker or agent use only.

 *Tiered pricing applies.

VOW (Virtual Office Website)

Used for the operation of a broker or agent’s virtual office website.

 *Tiered pricing applies.

Broker/Agent’s Own Listings

Provides a compilation of only the requesting broker’s or agent’s own listings.

This feed is provided at no cost.

Reciprocal Feed

Used in limited cases where multiple broker “own listing” feeds are aggregated into a single feed, as needed.

Developer Information

If your website or data feed developer already has an active data feed with River Counties MLS, Step 2 may be skipped.

To determine whether a feed already exists, you may:

  • Ask your developer directly

  • Review the list of developers currently receiving a data feed (link provided)
